OCN wrote to NSW Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Rob Stokes, requesting an urgent amendment to the EPA (COVID-19 Development-Construction Work Days) Order 2020 to protect the physical and mental health of strata residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The order allowed building work to be carried out within a Lot or on common property potentially seven days a week and without the need for strata owners to consent.
OCN believes this is detrimental to the health and wellbeing of residents subject to stay-at-home orders and has caused significant disruption to both Owners Corporations and to residents.
