Membership

Membership is open to Strata Schemes, Community Associations and Company-title developments that are predominately residential, as well as individual lot owners within such schemes.

Membership Entitlements

Your membership entitles you to:

  • access the 'Members Only' section of our website, which contains a wealth of practical information to assist Executive Committees and lot owners
  • participate in the forum discussions to contribute and learn from fellow members
  • participate in email discussions amongst members
  • a voice in framing any new strata and property legislation being considered by Government
  • free participation in members' meetings, which are often addressed by expert speakers on a broad range of topics
  • reduced price admissions for our series of Public Seminars and Workshops
  • invitations to participate in industry-based research and surveys
  • and more....

Membership types

OCN offers the following membership types. Membership is renewable annually on 1st July.

  1. Owners Corporation - Large
    For Strata and Community Title schemes with more than 100 lots

    • $250 annual fee
    • Up to 2 Executive Committee members can be nominated to represent the scheme.
    • Each representative is entitled to 1 vote at General Meetings.
    • All owners in the scheme can take advantage of the membership entitlements listed above.

  2. Owners Corporation - Small
    For Strata and Community Title schemes with up to 100 lots

    • $125 annual fee
    • Up to 2 Executive Committee members can be nominated to represent the scheme.
    • Each representative is entitled to 1 vote at General Meetings.
    • All owners in the scheme can take advantage of the membership entitlements listed above.

  3. Individual
    For individual Lot Owners of residential strata-titled or company-titled property

    • $50 annual fee
    • Each individual member is entitled to 1 vote at General Meetings.
